Welcome Back to RSA,
The website will be the main source of information for my Homeroom class of 6th graders, Math 76 students, and the new Physical Education program for the year. The site is updated daily and we encourage you to check each day.
February 7th, 2012
Monday
*Box tops are being collected. We have placed in the top five classrooms for earnings the last three months. Thanks for your contributions.
*WES camp is March 19th-23rd. We are looking for responsible older siblings, friends of the RSA families that are 16 or older and would enjoy a week as a cabin counselor.
*WES Camp notification slips for monies owed were given to each student today. Due date is March 19th.
*AERIES is current for P.E.
*Students several times a month will be asked to clean the RSA campus. This includes cleaning out their locker, sweeping, cleaning tables and picking up trash. The idea is for the students to take ownership of their "spaces" where they play, eat, and utilize the facility ie: lockers, assembly area, or hallways. I have seen huge positives.
*Enterprise Starship permission slip due by Tuesday. Extended to tomorrow.
Math 76
*Students comtinued on the Dream Bedroom assignment. We will complete as much research in class as possible. Students should have a completed "Birds eye" and a final Budget sheet. "Birds-eye" should included measurements, title, labels and color. Cinderella crew have until Friday.
HW: Final Budget sheet, and "Birds-eye" view of their bedroom.
P.E.
*Please send your child with proper shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Remember that we will be outside except for thunder, hard rain or flooding of the playground.
*We are continuing the Soccer unit this week.
