Welcome back to school! I am looking forward to a year filled with creativity, learning and fun in our inspiring new facility. In case you have not heard, I now have a beautiful new Art Room, all to myself! My cart now has a home in my huge storage room. Room 17 is on the lower level, just outside the main cafe. Please feel free to stop by and check it out.
This year I will be teaching all the primary art classes, Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. Each of these classes will meet once a week. The exception will the English only classes of Mrs. Call, and Mrs. Lahey/Mrs. Hemeon. These classes will be part of the Elploration Wheel and will be offered three times a week for an entire Trimester. Each system has its strengths and challenges, but all students will experience curriculum based on the California State Visual Arts Standards. Ms. Krupit's Fifth Grade students will also have Art with me twice a week. In addition to these core art classes, I will be teaching a Fourth and Fifth Grade Caldecott Art class, and the Set Design Class, both first and second trimesters. Finally, this year I am the Math U See class insturctor.
I have the classes listed below on the following days. Keep in mind that the Manderin classes also alternate their Art schedule. Math U See is daily.
