Core Curriculum

RSA General Curriculum

Redding School of the Arts offers an integrated, interdisciplinary approach for incorporating the visual and performing arts into the academic day.

The curriculum consists of the basic concepts, content goals, and skills instruction reflected in the California State Frameworks in Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Visual and Performance Arts.

Programs such as Saxon Math and Spalding Phonics are utilized as basic resources for learning.

Yearlong themes studied include:

  • Africa, Asia and Early European History
  • California and American History
  • Ancient Civilizations
