Ms. Scott's Student Supply List, 2023-24

4th/5th (All English)

Being prepared with the correct supplies makes learning easier. Please send these items to school with your child, with their name written on them. Note: some are optional.

I will have some supplies available to share, but it makes it easier if your student has their own supplies, in a labeled pouch, to hang from their desk.
I look forward to seeing them, and you, at the RSA Meet and Greet, Aug 16th!

Personal Needs:

  • Earbuds or earphones for the computer. (Label and store in a baggie or other container in the backpack or zippered supply pouch. )

  • 2 double-pocket folders or a 1 or2 inch 3-ring binder (Larger binders do not fit in the desks)

  • Backpack: Please label with their name!

  • Wide-ruled binder paper (Keep in their binder/folder)

  • Ruler (some have holes for storage in a binder)

  • 100 3x5 lined Index cards (replenish as needed)

  • Optional: Small refillable water bottle.  However, there is a drinking fountain in the room, and others located in the hallways. Only water, no ice, in the bottles, please. The rattling ice is too noisy in the classroom.
  • A Zipper Pouch (labeled with student name) that can hang from desk hook containing:

2-3 Sharpened Pencils (more at home to replenish as needed)
    • Eraser (replenish as needed)

    • Handheld pencil sharpener (that contains its own shavings)

    • Glue stick (replenish as needed)

    • 4 fine tip Dry-Erase pens ( Keep 2 at home to replenish as needed)

    • Colored pencils and/or thin colored markers (optional)

    • Hand-held hole punch for index cards (optional)
