Moon Festival: You are invited to celebrate the Moon Festival with us on Friday, October 3rd. The Moon Festival (also known as the Mid-autumn Festival, in Chinese” 中秋节” Zhōngqiū Jié) is the second most important festival in the Chinese calendar. It’s also an important holiday observed by Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Cambodia. It’s a time of thanksgiving when people get together to celebrate the end of the summer harvest season, an occasion for outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes and observe the full moon, a symbol of harmony and unity.

Or just wear red – the color of blessings! Come to the grassy area on the playground. Bring your own blanket, drinks, and other round foods such as mandarin oranges, cookies, or grapes for your family to enjoy. For safety reasons, students need parental supervision while they’re staying on the playground. We are sincerely looking forward to seeing your family for the night!
