I am Mr. Cavallari and I am the fox activities director at RSA. The Vulcano League had a meeting this week about the races and this year's season. The school is interested in participating in both the k-3 and 4th-8th like in the previous years. We currently have a head coach that voluntarily will lead practices and races for k-3 but we are still looking for a parent volunteer for the 4th-8th group. The deadline to find a head coach for the 4th-8th coach will be Wednesday at the meeting. We will not have a 4th-8th x-country group if we don't find a coach. The time commitment is primarily 2 days a week. Practices are approximately 1 hour after school on Tuesday and Thursdays pre-season and 1 day a week during season (Tuesdays). Competitions are Thursdays @ 4pm for 4th-8th grades and Fridays @ 5pm for Kinder-3rd grades. We are also looking for additional parents willing to support them for the practices and race days. Please join us for our mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday 8/26/26 at 6:30pm in the amphitheater to go over detailed information about the season.
