Special Education - MTSS

In alignment with California Department of Education's (CDE) vision of "one coherent system of education," RSA is committed to providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning in a fully integrated system of supports. RSA's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) considers universal design for learning, data-based intervention, and a whole child approach. Within this MTSS, RSA ensures that all pupils with disabilities receive an appropriate program, to meet the expectations of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

RSA partners with the El Dorado Charter Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) for support and oversight, including professional development, program consultation, allocation of special education funds, fiscal reporting, and monitoring.
