📚LIBRARY VISION
The RSA Library provides an environment in which students develop a life-long enjoyment of reading and learning. Our students become effective locators, evaluators and users of information. Our library supports student achievement of curricular goals and objectives.

The RSA Library maintains a collection of reading materials that engage our diverse student community and support the classroom curriculum in a welcoming, supportive and organized space.

Listen to the librarian and your teacher.
Inquire (ask) if you need help.
Be kind.
Read and talk quietly.
Always walk, never run.
Return books to their proper places (use shelf marker).
Your manners are appreciated.
📚CHECKING OUT AND RETURNING BOOKS

CHECKING OUT and RETURNING BOOKS
- Check out limit:
- One book per kindergarten student
- Two books per student in grades 1-8
- Book due date: two weeks after the check-out date. Students may renew books if they are still reading them at the end of the two weeks.
- Students will be given notice if they have books out over three weeks.
📚LIBRARY RESPONSIBILITY
- Students are responsible for keeping track of their library books.
- Lost or damaged books will have to be replaced by the student/parent with either the same book or the cost of the book.
- Please do not repair damaged items. Return them to the library for special library repair.
- Students may not have food or drink in the library.
- The second floor of the library is for middle and high school level books only. Only students in grades 6-12 are permitted upstairs.
